GENERAL TERMS OF LEASE AGREEMENT
The minimum rental time is one (1) day, calculated on the basis of the 24-hour system (return time equal to pick-up time).
Age requirement.
The renter must be at least 21 years of age to rent 150cc-300cc moto and ATVs.
For all other ATV and car categories the renter must be at least 25 years old.
Driving license.
Driver must hold a driving license for at least three (3) years. The driving license may be Greek, European or international. The international driving
license must be accompanied by the driving license issued by the driver's country. Depending on the type of machine you wish to drive, you need a
category A, A1 or A2 category license. A car driver's license is required for ATV quadricycles.
Helmets
Our company has a wide variety of helmets in all types and sizes. In case you already know your helmet size, please let us know before your arrival.
Renter’s obligations.
The RENTER is obliged to inspect the vehicle (interior and exterior), indicate any damages by marking the Damage Table accordingly and return the
vehicle in exactly the same condition.
When picking up the vehicle, the RENTER is required to show the CAR RENTAL his driver's license, identity card or passport and credit/debit card.
Cancellations
If you want to cancel a fully prepaid booking up to 48 hours before the rental then you will not incur any cancellation fees.
After 48 hours, the cancellation fee is the charge for one day of your vehicle rental.
Lost key.
In case of loss of the vehicle key, the customer is obliged to pay the replacement cost.
Payment methods.
a) Deposit/transfer to bank account.
b) Cash on delivery.
c) Payment by credit or debit card
The CAR RENTAL accepts all Visa and Mastercard credit / debit cards. In the event that a reservation has been made in advance and the payment card is
not approved upon receipt of the vehicle, the rental will not be possible and the corresponding cancellation fee will be applied.
Deposit for guarantee.
For a car rental an amount as a deposit for guarantee is required, paid in cash or by credit / debit card.
The deposit is fully refundable upon delivery/return of the vehicle, provided no other charges are incurred.
In case of payment of the guarantee by credit/debit card, the release of the amount may take up to fourteen (14) days depending on your bank.
The RENTER is obliged to deliver/return the vehicle to a representative of the CAR RENTAL on the indicated date, time (max + 1 hour) and location. Any
modification (extension or reduction) requires the written consent of the CAR RENTAL.
Returns or delays beyond one (1) hour from the indicated and up to the first three (3) hours are charged with 50% of the daily rental, and after three (3)
hours are charged as an extra day.
The RENTER is required to return the vehicle clean and ready for delivery inspection, otherwise time and charge may be required for cleaning and
inspection.
Fuel.
The RENTER is responsible for fuel costs (unleaded gasoline or diesel, depending on the type of vehicle). The amount of fuel is indicated in the rental
contract upon receipt of the vehicle and must be equal to the amount upon delivery. A smaller quantity of fuel on delivery generates a charge
proportional to the quantity consumed. Unused fuel does not create a refund obligation under any circumstances.
The RENTER is responsible from the time of receipt of the vehicle until its return and delivery to a representative of the CAR RENTAL for
fines, traffic violations, illegal parking and administrative penalties, which he must pay and deliver a certified copy of the payment deed or receipt,
otherwise, the charge for the amount of the summons / violation will be made by the CAR RENTAL or after the declaration of the violation by the
RENTER at the time of delivery of the vehicle or after notification by the police or other competent authorities at a later time and without any time limit
for these charges. In the latter case, the charge will be made to the tenant's credit / debit card.
Security.
The insurance of the rented vehicle is included in the rental and covers, for example, the following: fire, acts of terrorism, bodily harm to third parties
and passengers, material damage to third parties, theft, glass breakage, personal traffic accident of the driver, natural phenomena, legal protection.
Coverage is subject to the terms of the CAR RENTAL contract with its insurance company.
Accident and damage.
In the event of an accident (collision, deflection, etc.) or damage (scratches, scratches, etc.) and with any insurance coverage, the Traffic Authority and
the CAR RENTAL must be informed immediately, and the Traffic Accident Report must be presented upon delivery/return of the vehicle, otherwise the
RENTER will be considered responsible and will bear all the damages caused and other related expenses, even if he had accepted the clause Exemption
from Liability for Damages
If the repair and restoration of damage to the vehicle is required, it is not allowed for the RENTER to choose a workshop other than the partners of the
CAR RENTAL and the official or authorized representative in Greece of the vehicle in question. The RENTER bears the relevant costs that may arise.
Transportation by boat.
Transportation by ship is permitted only with the written approval of the CAR RENTAL, otherwise the RENTER is solely responsible for any damage
caused to the vehicle on board and is not covered by any insurance, even if he had accepted the clause.
Transporting a vehicle across borders.
Transport of the vehicle outside the borders of the Greek territory is permitted only with the written approval of CAR RENTAL and upon issuance of a
Green Card, the cost of which is borne by the RENTER.
The RENTER is obliged to return the vehicle to Greece
Mechanical breakdown - Roadside assistance.
In the event of a mechanical breakdown or request for Roadside Assistance, the RENTER can contact the CAR RENTAL on a 24-hour basis, who will inform
him accordingly.
Taxes.
The RENTER is charged with value added tax (VAT) of 24%, or the applicable rate, on the prices and charges.
